Dear Members,

How about vegetarian for a change? Saravana Bhavan is a world wide chain originating in Chennai and has branches as far as Toronto! This very simple very basic restaurant has delicious Northern and Southern Indian vegetarian food.

The Star published a rave review saying that In Malaysia, its food has placed it apart from the competition, even emerging as one of Klang Valley’s popular speciality restaurants."

"The outlet’s senior chef S. Suresh said the outlet served pure vegetarian food, which meant cooking without using root vegetables or garlic. The substitute for these is cashew nuts, used to thicken and add flavour and aroma to the large variety of curries and the different types of masala."
