BOAT RACE 2007

The Boat Race is back for 2007!

This time, it is even more exciting and competitive, and yes, we are using the “real” boats this time! Apart from the traditional Boat Race between Oxford and Cambridge, The Harvard Club has finally accepted our challenge this year to participate in the Boat Race 2007 event. To top it off, we will have a stirring climax with a finale Dragon Boat Race between Oxbridge (combined), Harvard, as well as the esteemed sponsors this year – Deloitte and Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM).

10.00am		Race 1 – Oxford vs Cambridge coxed four sweep boat race
10.30am		Race 2 – Oxford vs Cambridge vs Harvard coxed four sweep boat race
11.00am		Race 3 – Dragon Boat Semifinal 1: Oxbridge vs Harvard
11.15pm		Race 4 – Dragon Boat Semifinal 2: Deloitte vs TM
11.30pm		Race 5 – Dragon Boat Final
12.00pm		End of Race and Photo Session by Press
12.15pm		Lunch
1.00pm		End of Event

Practice Sessions for Boat Race 2007

Calling for strong and skillful men and women to row in the Boat Race 2007!

For each team, we need at least 4 x rowers and 1 x cox for the coxed four sweep boat race; and since Harvard is challenging us as well (and they have started practicing already!), we will need more rowers to ensure that our teams are strong in both races. In addition, the combined Oxbridge Dragon Boat Team will consist of 10 x rowers and 2 x coxes.
